The color photographs yesterday were Polaroids taken at our wedding by friend and former employer, Photographer Robert Llewellyn. He took some fabulous pictures!
Below are some pictures taken with the Dories, also called the Diana plastic camera.
For our wedding I bought ten or so and loaded them with color film. The camera is a cheap point and shoot, made of plastic with a plastic lens, which gives the images a blurry, otherworldly look. I taped up all the places light could leak in. We put them in a basket and anyone could pick one up and take pictures, so I have no idea who the photographers are! When they were done, our guests put the camera back in the basket and I would later unload them and get them processed. Every roll was like Christmas, I never knew what would be on the film when I got it back. There are some really great shots here, and a couple just make me laugh they are so funny.
I've resisted putting captions on them because I think who they are just isn't part of the beauty of these images.
